After the up and down of the morning we found our resting place for lunch here. A glass of wine certainly won't hurt. But always think of the wine fountain from Bad Berzabern. The place seems quite sleepy when we are passing through. The bus parking spaces on the access roads speak a different language. During the grape harvest, especially when the wine festivals invite you to take part, this place is sure to be a real place of pilgrimage. Well, we haven't seen a beggar. That is probably due to the fact that you have achieved considerable wealth here with half a coat. I assume this was used to squeeze the grapes after the donation? We were traveling with the tandem. The food is authentically Palatinate, there is even mashed potatoes with the Palatinate dishes. There is self-service for drinks and the food is ordered at the counter and is served after a short time. The prices for food and drinks are okay. You can 'taste' everything from high-priced wines (Cuvee red and white) to normal current prices except beer (just kidding). It is difficult when buying the wines, as the wine bar is in the narrow 'pedestrian zone', where it is really difficult to get rum, let alone stop. There is a paid car park near the wine tavern. If you are lucky you can get a place. The dining room is bright and has large wooden tables and benches. As is usual in the Palatinate, strangers come and eventually become friends over a drink. In the middle of the restaurant there is a quite large and certainly old olive tree, which provides a Mediterranean flair. The men and women at the bar are nice and courteous and ready for a chat. You can pay either cash or with EC.

As always, just great. Nice staff and the food and wine are very good. Only the guests annoy with the eternal grumbling because of the mask.

Very nice outside terrace, eaten delicious fresh salad with avocado and chicken. Mjammi! The rose spritzer with it - perfect! Recommendation.

Very nice historic ambience. Local food from the region. Good price - performance ratio. 3 x in a row there eaten together. All dishes were delicious, especially the salad sauce. Good wine and friendly staff. We also had the same experience a year ago.

The restaurant itself is very nice. The food is not really good, tastes more like warmed up. And absolutely unfriendly staff. Not recommended in my opinion.

Food is tasty and cheap. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and polite. Just keep in mind that you have to order your food at the counter and then they will bring it to you.
